Caroline has event planning and design in her blood. Born and raised in New York City, she had the fortune to apprentice with a well known wedding planner at just 18 years old. Life later led her to Boulder, Colorado, where she finished school, and later to Seattle, where she enjoyed an advertising career in arts publications. Love brought her to Roanoke, Virginia, where she founded her first event planning firm back in 1996, Lady In Waiting. She later co-founded White Glove Event Production.
She is blessed to have the organization, tenacity, and skill required for seamless planning and orchestration of an event-and on top of that she learned floral design by just digging in a trying it. She has a very sharp sense of color, composition, and balance. The mechanics came with time. She is inspired by artists such as Preston Bailey, Rebecca Cole, Carolyne Roehm, Nico De Swert, and others... Her love of art, music, and travel inspire her endlessly. Her insatiable thirst for the newest and the freshest keeps her work on the cutting edge. The result has proven to be beyond her wildest dreams and most importantly it remains fun.
Neal is a native of Roanoke Virginia but his entre into event promotions sent him all over the country at a young age. Lighting and sound were his forte, but creating all the elements necessary to stimulate all the senses at an event became his passion. He engaged these talents by managing the lighting and sound on the theatrical level, as well as national concert tours. He owned his own nightclub where his expertise spanned from marketing events to the public to creating an aesthetic that distinguished each and every event there. He is also experienced in laser technology, a medium that can magically send a message or create an ambience. Neal has been employed by Stage Sound Productions, Lightwave International, and is a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees.
Caroline and Neal's paths crossed in the wedding business-she doing planning and floral, he doing lighting and production. They worked on so many events together, with such amazing results, that a partnership was inevitable. Caroline handed Neal a pair of floral scissors one day, and a new talent emerged for him. Constantly inspired by fashion and music, Neal brings a modern and cutting edge look to their floral design. The pair have such a passion for coming up with new ideas and creating events that they treat each and every one like it is their very own.
The trait that is so unique about Posh is that they get to know their clients so well through planning their event, that when it comes time to create the aesthetic-they are so very in touch with their design style. It is a formula that has proven successful time and time again. With an unbelievable team, they see each and every event become a stunning reality, where everyone is made to feel like they are caught in a dream.
Posh's goal is to make each client feel like its only client. They accomplish this by limiting the number of events they work on. Most of their clientele is discerning, quality oriented, and filled with high expectations. They offer a service where every client feels pampered and well taken care of. They would never dream of Posh becoming a "production". It is extremely service oriented and highly customized. This keeps them excited about what they do, and has resulted in more favorable feedback than they could ever ask for.
They plan and design events primarily in Virginia where they have the fortune of working one month on rolling farmlands overlooking Afton Mountain, and the next month at the gentile and majestic Homestead or the historical Hotel Roanoke. Because of demand, (and well, just to keep life exciting), the team has and will travel just about anywhere. They have a base in New York and travel there regularly for consultations, events, and buying trips. So no matter where you are located, they are available to help create a stunning and memorable event for you.
